Combine the therapeutic effects of massage and hot volcanic basalt stones together, and you will feel the difference in both body and mind.

Specially shaped basalt stones are gently warmed in a water bath to a safe temperature, and then placed strategically over the body to warm the muscles, which in turn encourages them to relax and release tension. Warming the muscles in this way helps maximise the effects of the massage, performed using hands as well as with the stones, thereby deeply relaxing tense muscles as well as boosting circulation, cell metabolism, and lymphatic function. The stones can also be used for deeper tissue work in localised areas.

Relaxing Gingerlily Shimmer Oil Hot Stone Treatment
A luxurious oil from Molton Brown, rich with the enchanting fragrance of Gingerlily, and imbued with hydrating and skin softening qualities that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. Applied with relaxing, sweeping motions using hot basalt stones that heighten the exotic fragrance, this treatment deeply relaxes mind and body. We then reawaken the senses by shaking the bottle, which combines tiny golden particles, and gently drip the shimmering oil on to your back and shoulders. The sparkling oil is then smoothed in, leaving your skin wrapped in a delicate, shimmering golden luminescence, which is both indulgent and glamourous.

Vital Samphire Oil De-Stress Hot Stone & Crystal Treatment
Unwind and de-stress with the delicate Samphire oil from Molton Brown. Enriched with vital vitamins and minerals, this dry oil is applied using slow, firm strokes, which helps to relax the mind and soothe stressed muscles. Chakra crystals are placed strategically upon the face and torso to help balance your energy and calm the mind, while your legs are gently massaged with hot basalt stones to help ground and re-focus you. Hot stones are then placed strategically down the back, allowing you time for your mind and cares to drift away as the back of your legs and feet are gently massaged.

Cedrus & Lavender Oil Sleep Well Hot Stone Treatment
This oil from Molton Brown is a striking mix of Cedrus tree oil, Sweet Florida Orange oil and Lavender oil, combined with rich Olive oil and moisturising Evening Primrose oil. A Lavender-infused warm pillow is draped over the back of your neck to promote mental peace and calm, then the fragrant oil is drizzled over each area and applied with a combination of relaxing sweeping strokes and firmer tension-release motions using hands and hot stones. This oil helps to relax the mind and body for a deep and peaceful night's sleep.

Ambient Chill Out Hot Stone Treatment
Chill out, unwind and drift away with this deeply sensuous blend of ten sensational essential oils combined in a rich moisturising base of Sesame, Jojoba and Avocado oils from Temple Spa. The oil is applied with slow, relaxing strokes using hot basalt stones allowing you to inhale deeply, relax, and feel the tension slip away. The treatment includes a peaceful facial massage using Oriental pressure point activation, particularly focusing on the temples and forehead to help you deeply chill out.

Energising Citrus Feel Good Hot & Cold Stone Treatment
Pick yourself up with this energising Mediteranean-inspired feel good blend of Passionfruit, Orange, Lemon, Lavender and Grapefruit from Temple Spa. A base oil is first worked generously into the skin using hot basalt stones to stimulate the muscles and circulation, then the aromatic oil is applied as a refreshing and cooling mist, which is worked in to the skin using gentle raindrop and plucking motions to stimulate the tissue. Cold marble stones are also placed gently on your eyes to cool and brighten, and your face is lightly massaged to stimulate your senses. You'll leave feeling totally revitalised and alert!

Spicy Muscle Relax Hot Stone Treatment
A mix of nourishing Jojoba, Almond and Evening Primrose oils from The Sanctuary soften the skin, while a fragrant spicey blend of essential oils help relax tired and aching muscles. Applied using hot basalt stones, the combination of relaxing sweeping motions and more focused tension-releasing frictions leave your muscles relaxed, but you'll leave feeling revitalised and with a spring in your step.
